Where NeoDay is stronger
- The member front end comes with it. NeoDay's SDK ships prebuilt UI components, so loyalty screens and games drop into the app you already have, and the standalone app is built, submitted to both stores and maintained by NeoDay (SDK, standalone app). Antavo's pages describe embedding loyalty into your own site or app, so budget for your own screen work.
- Published results in store-based categories. Texaco: +80% active users and +18% visit frequency with an SDK integration (case). La Place (QSR): +52% visit frequency among participants (case). FrieslandCampina: +23% sales uplift per customer across 13 brands (case).
- Campaigns built to be measured. Monthly, weekly and daily campaigns run against a deadline, and uplift is measured against a control group of members who did not take part (layered approach).
- Quality as well as security. NeoDay holds ISO 9001 next to ISO 27001, and states that you choose where member data lives.
Where Antavo is stronger
- Ecommerce integrations out of the box. Antavo lists ready integrations with Shopify, Klaviyo, Bloomreach and Braze (features). If most of your members shop online, that is a real head start.
- A shorter published best case. Antavo says some customers went live in six weeks, against NeoDay's "as little as 10 weeks" (Antavo pricing). Both are best cases; ask each for a committed plan.
- AI for the planning stage. The AI Loyalty Expert turns notes, decks and workshop output into a build-ready specification (Antavo AI).
- Cloud privacy certifications and brand roster. ISO 27017 and 27018 on top of 27001, and named customers such as KFC, PUMA, C&A and SKIMS (Antavo).
Switching from Antavo
Most of the work is data and touchpoints, not the programme idea. Antavo has import and export modules in JSON and CSV (data and compliance), so a typical move looks like this:
- Export members, balances, tiers and open rewards, and map them to NeoDay points and status points.
- Keep member IDs stable so tills, app logins and email tools still recognise people.
- Replace embedded member hubs with NeoDay SDK screens, the standalone app or the web version.
- Run both systems in parallel for a short test window, then switch and tell members their balance moved with them.
Plan around a normal NeoDay launch window plus time for data checks.
