Where NeoDay is stronger
- The member experience is built, not sampled. NeoDay's SDK ships prebuilt UI components, and the standalone app is built, submitted to both stores and maintained by NeoDay (SDK, standalone app). Salesforce gives you an SDK with a reference sample app, so plan for your own app team or a partner to build the screens.
- More ready game mechanics. Scratch cards, quizzes, shake and win, reward calendars, stamp cards and cashbacks come ready for marketing to configure (gamified experiences). Salesforce names spin the wheel, tiers and clubs on its product page.
- Works with whichever CRM you have. NeoDay lists integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Klaviyo and others, plus POS systems such as Oracle Simphony and Lightspeed Retail (integrations). Your loyalty choice does not have to follow your CRM choice.
- Published results in store-based retail. La Place (QSR): +52% visit frequency among participants and +20% average spend per participant (case). FrieslandCampina: +23% sales uplift per customer across 13 brands (case).
Where Salesforce is stronger
- One data model with your CRM. Loyalty Management is built into the Salesforce Platform (Salesforce). If service agents, marketers and sales already work there, they see loyalty data without another integration.
- Transparent list prices. Salesforce publishes its three editions and prices (Salesforce pricing). NeoDay gives an indicative price through a calculator, not a list.
- B2B and partner programmes. B2C and B2B programmes and partner administration are named features (Salesforce, Salesforce pricing).
- An EU operating zone with EU-based support for the products it covers (Salesforce EU OZ). Ask whether Loyalty Management is in scope for you.
Switching from Salesforce Loyalty Management
You do not have to leave Salesforce to change loyalty platform. Salesforce is on NeoDay's integrations list (integrations), so you can keep it as your CRM and run the programme in NeoDay, syncing members and events between the two. A typical move:
- Export members, currencies, tiers, vouchers and benefits from your loyalty objects and map them to NeoDay points, status points, coupons and vouchers.
- Decide which system owns the member profile, and keep the member ID identical in both.
- Replace the custom app screens with NeoDay's SDK, standalone app or web version.
- Run in parallel for a test window, then switch and tell members their balances came with them.
