Where NeoDay is stronger
- Games as a weekly habit, run by marketing. NeoDay plans programmes in four layers: an always-on base, monthly milestones, weekly challenges and daily games. Each campaign has a deadline and is measured against a control group (layered approach). Marketing runs it without developers (gamified experiences).
- A named list of ready mechanics. Scratch cards, quizzes, shake and win, reward calendars, stamp cards, cashbacks and milestones are ready to configure. Comarch describes "gamified promotions" without listing the mechanics on its loyalty page, so ask for a demo of the ones you plan to use.
- Loyalty inside your existing app. The SDK drops prebuilt loyalty screens into the app you already have (SDK). Texaco took that route: +80% active users and +18% visit frequency (case).
- A price indication before the first call. NeoDay prices on modules, front end and expected members, and its calculator shows an indicative licence price before you talk to sales (pricing).
Where Comarch is stronger
- Every hosting model, including on-premise. Comarch publishes SaaS, public cloud, on-premise and hybrid options (Comarch). If your policy says core customer systems run in your own data centre, that is a clear Comarch strength.
- Proven at very large scale. Comarch cites 450 million+ programme members, 10 billion processed loyalty transactions and 30+ years in the field, with customers such as BP, ExxonMobil, KFC and JetBlue (Comarch).
- Broad predictive AI. Lifetime value, churn, next best offer and loyalty fraud detection are named as built-in models.
- A wide certification set. Besides ISO 27001 and ISO 9001, Comarch S.A. lists ISO 22301 for business continuity (Comarch quality).
Switching from Comarch
A move from a large suite is mostly about scope. Decide which Comarch modules you actually use; you may only need to move loyalty and gamification, not every module. Then:
- Export members, balances, tiers, partner earn rules and open vouchers, and map them to NeoDay points, status points, coupons and vouchers.
- Keep member IDs and card numbers stable so tills and partners keep recognising members.
- Rebuild recurring promotions as NeoDay layers, starting with the always-on base.
- Run both in parallel for a test window before switching, and tell members their balances have moved.
